Happy New Year!!! We made it to 2021. Our minds are full of hope, our hearts love our kids more than ever, and our souls are craving connection and joy. May this year bring happiness and infinite gratitude towards the small things in life, that hug will mean more than everything. With the new year I set new goals that align to my heart and purpose... which is storytelling and capturing candid moments. Yay! 2021 is around the corner and I couldn't be more excited to create magic in the most breathtaking locations. In my home town Boston, every season has its charm and in 2021 I'm optimistic that we will be able to celebrate and embrace EVERY season. ATP will also be traveling this year (yay!), I'll keep this blog up to date with all available destinations. 

One of the most known phrases (if you're a GOT fan) is WINTER IS COMING! Well, for family photographers our favorite phrase is FALL IS COMING. I even own a shirt that slogan! Fall is MAGICAL, BREATHTAKING & CRAZY BUSY for family photographers in Massachusetts. It's a photographer's dream. We get inspired by mother nature and family's love, we shoot nonstop for ~10 weeks. For me, Fall is THE best season for family photos, Mother Nature puts on a show and it provides epic surroundings for emotive storytelling. Today I'll share the Fall beauty you can expect in the Boston Area from mid-September to mid-December. Let's get started!

If you live in Boston and you think about summer breeze, ocean, and sand your mind most likely will transport you to Cape Cod! I don't blame you, my mind goes there too, the Cape is gorgeous!!! It's one of my favorite places, actually my happiest summer place. Once a year we spend a week at the Cape and we LOVE IT. It's magical!! ... but it is the most magical place when you're STAYING THERE. Today I'll walk you through some hidden beach gems close to Boston, sunset locations that are outstanding and epic.

Can you close your eyes and transport yourself to your own summer childhood? All those days in the beach, the sand in your feet, the stunning sunset while playing in the water. Most of us have all these memories deep inside our hearts. Treasured moments that only our heart feels. Can you imagine having tangible memories of your most treasured memories?

"Love in Covid19 times" a charity project that gave me a purpose during these uncertain times. The project ran for 2 weeks. ⁠115 Lexington families participated and we fundraised $5,737 for Meals on Wheels! ❤️❤️❤️⁠⠀

I get it; you're browsing through Instagram and see all these cute portraits of kids smiling, having fun, and kissing mom. You want those memories too! Your kids are growing up too fast, maybe your daughter is about to lose her first tooth, and you want to remember that little face when she was 5 years old.

Yet, every time you try to take a photo of your kids, you get a fake smile, or the picture doesn't do justice to the memory you want to have for years to come. No worries! Let me tell you a few tricks we photographers master that will get your kids to smile at the camera and give that big laugh you dream about!

The fact that you're reading this blog means that you have a desire deep in your heart to freeze time. We go through life in a hurry. We love our kids, yet we're mostly running on task, going off the script seems desirable yet sometimes so complicated.

A family photo session is an opportunity to do just that, to prioritize to slow down and dedicate time for memories. The photographer will facilitate the session, but it's your family's essence that will shine through. You'll get portraits of the most important people in your life with YOU in the frame; isn't that the best gift for a parent's heart ten years from now?

We're in an era that moms crave to remember all the little details of their kids, technology is available 24×7, and we're always snapping photos of our kids with our phones.

What's missing from this interaction is that we — moms — are barely in the frame, let alone as a family of 4 (my case!). That's when a family photo session with a professional becomes something to crave for. Here are a few reasons why you should have it fulfilled.

When Carolina reached out to me to ask whether I would photograph her baby's birth, I could not feel more honored and excited. I had been in the photography business for years yet it was my first time photographing a birth! This is a special moment in a woman's life, and she was asking me to witness and capture it with my camera.

Today, this birth stands as one of the most special moments in my career as a family photographer. Here's my recollection of this special moment. And because I want you to understand what this experience really entails for Mom and baby (and Dad, of course), I've asked Carolina to share her impressions and memories as well.

Congrats! your baby is about to turn 1 year old! Can you believe how fast time is flying by? I'm sure you can close your eyes and remember the day the baby arrived. All those feelings and excitement with welcoming a baby. You might have been too overwhelmed to schedule a Newborn photo session or you might be a milestone recording mom! Either way a cake smash is a gorgeous second chance to capture a unique milestone. Baby's 1st birthday happens once!
